Jean, CVT, Receptionist

Jean began her tenure at Westgate Animal Hospital as a Certified Technician in 1981.  She currently spends a majority of her time at the Reception desk, as wrestling dogs can wear you out after so many years.  

Jean has been active in the theatre guild, but her current passion is her two young Border Collies.  Lucy, Penny and Jean spend much of their time doing Fly Ball, Herding and Obedience.  Jean also has another Border Collie and two cats.  She is very active at St Mary's Catholic Church in Altoona.

 Jen, Receptionist, Technician Assistant

Jen has been a Westgate team member for seven years.  She started working here while still in high school as an animal caretaker.  She has moved up through the ranks and is now a receptionist and technician assistant. 

Jen was recently married and she and her husband are the proud parents of three Labrador retrievers, and a beagle.  They enjoy hunting with the dogs, and competing in obedience and agility trials.  At home, Jen can be found laughing at the antics of her four cats.

Rachel, Receptionist

Rachel is a native of Minnesota who is currently enrolled at UWEC. After having attained a degree in Mathematics she decided that the veterinary world is where she really belongs. She is hoping to be accepted to Veterinary school in 2010.

She enjoys barrel racing with her horse, J. Lo. She is at home with her significant other, Eric, and their golden retriever, Millie.
